

The instrument has been adapted to modern performance practices, though the original components have been lost.
However, the modifications to the body are limited to the side height, which was lowered by approximately 8–11 mm to suit the changed tonal aesthetic. In the replica, the presumed original side height and the components from the period of its creation are reconstructed. The fingerboard length can be designed so that it can also be used for music from the second half of the 18th century.
